The Outdoors Are Closer Than You Think!

Although this has been the coldest April in years, things will start heating up soon and it will be more enjoyable to be outdoors again.  If you are looking to take a day hike or overnight camping trip, I would suggest Mt. Si.  It is located in North Bend, not too far from Seattle.

The hike is good for anyone....the serious hiker, casual mall-walker type hiker, and even families. The hike is 8 miles round-trip, and the highest point of 3,900 feet provides you with awesome views.

  1. There are lots of great hikes listed on WTA's website, including some that are accessible by bus. Check out this article in their March/April magazine for information about several hikes you can access by public transportation.
